Maggie the owner is such a sweetheart! She has always made us feel comfortable and welcomed. She goes above and beyond, recently discovered this pub and we honestly love it. Also very convenient that it’s open till late. The bartenders are also lovely and friendly. Genuinely feels like going to a family friend pub. Fully recommend this place :)

The strike rate at Mascara Bar for a fun night out is impossibly high. The first time my friend lost their phone at the afters elsewhere, of her own doing. The second most recent time I met Maggie and a few of her team behind the bar and made a fool of myself. The most recent time was the night after the second most recent time, and Maggie was there once again and I was told that I had met people last night who I don’t actually think I met. Never a dull night, always a cheery chinwag.

It’s rare to find a bar in London like mascara bar. A real source of community. So many bars in the area have been taken over by chains and made corporate but whenever you go to mascara bar you see the landlord Maggie outside always greeting you with a smile. A lovely place with lovely staff and lovely patrons. Nothing else you could ever ask for

A bar with character. The staff were brilliant, friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was warm and quirky, a place with no judgement. The decor is awesome and unique. All in all great fun.

The Mascara Bar is the one place I can bring anybody and they are always blown away. Whether it's Northern Soul night (the best) or just hanging out, it's got a great vibe

Best vibes. Long live Maggie, an absolute legend

The Mascara bar is an institution and should be protected by law. Nowhere like it. Great guinness, jukebox and late opening . Bonus points for Thatcher poster.
